Imagine that you are bringing your child or grandchild to work; to observe what you do and how you do it. Would you want to teach them the correct way, the safe way or would you put them in harms way by showing them quick ways that may put them in danger?
Let’s keep two things in mind: 1) Always do your tasks as if your child or grandchild was next to you, watching you and you were teaching them the right way to do that task. 2)When you come up with ideas that deviate from the procedure, consider that it is the way your child or grandchild will learn to do it and may get harmed. Even though you may think that you are seasoned, faster, quicker or strong enough to do a task the unsafe way it does NOT lessen the probability of an incident/accident. The odds do not automatically operate in your favour. So the next time you are getting prepared to start that task, remind yourself that your child is watching and you’d want to teach them the correct, SAFE way.

Having read this I believed it was really enlightening. I appreciate you spending some time and energy to put this information together. I once again find myself spending a lot of time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worth it! Brook Zed Donielle
